Gfk published its weekly UK physical sales rankings for the past week related to video games, as well as the top positions in the UK charts, two games were victorious. For the week ending December 25, FIFA 22 retained its No. 1 spot.where it was also the week before, while for the week ending January 1 it fell to second place, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which was ranked first (after having ranked third the week before).

Call of Duty Vanguard, Just Dance 2022, and the Switch version of Minecraft all lost their respective spots, but were in the top 10 in both weeks. By contrast, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales have seen improvements, going from 7th to 3rd place and from 5th to 4th place respectively.

The other three positions were filled by completely different games throughout the two weeks. Battlefield 2042, Far Cry 6, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy were the most popular. in the bottom three positions of the top 10 for the week ending December 25.. The following week, they were replaced by Pokémon Brilliant Diamond (# 6), Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (# 9), and Mario Party Superstars (# 10).
