While some video games are very successful around the world, there are differences between Europe and the US for other titles. At least that’s what the lists of the best-selling video games of the last decade show.

Rockstar’s popular game stands out everywhere Grand theft auto v arise. Despite the launch in 2013, the number of players in GTA Online reached a record high in 2019, a clear indication that the game should still generate sales years after its launch. There are clear differences to other games in the top 10: while Call of Duty is the best-selling game in the US, FIFA does so in the UK.

A big chunk of the UK’s top 10 best-selling video games list is made up of titles from EA – EA Sports, to be precise. Because the different FIFA-Parts make up a large part of sales. Also listed are two Activision CoD titles. In addition, two popular games stand out: Minecraft and GTA V. The latter even tops the list.

Soccer does not seem to be as successful in the United States as it is in the United Kingdom. Not a single FIFA title appears on the list. There is much more to that CodRepresented parties. Like in Europe, GTA V tops the list and Minecraft is a bit lower.
