The route of the Paralympic Torch Relay was revealed by the Paris 2024 organization last Friday. The Paralympic Torch Relay called “The explorer relays” will take place from August 25 to 28, 2024. The start will be in Stoke Mandeville in England, the historic birthplace of Paralympic sport. You will continue towards the Channel Tunnel. 24 English athletes will symbolically begin to cross the tunnel and halfway between the United Kingdom and France they will be joined by 24 French athletes to pass the Flame.

The relay will then continue in France with 12 llamas that will converge towards Paris.

For four days, some 1,000 Pathfinders will carry the Paralympic Flame in around fifty cities spread across all regions of France.

The Torch Relay will highlight territories committed to promoting sports inclusion and disability awareness, territories with a decidedly sporting DNA and committed as close as possible to the Games and others that stand out for their unique history.
