Two women in England have been found guilty of animal cruelty. The parrot died as a result of the abuse. A verdict has now been issued.

A court in the city of Carlisle, in northwest England, sentenced the defendants, aged 35 and 47, to 25 months in prison each for causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, the BBC reported on Tuesday.
The women denied the allegations and blamed each other. Now you will never be allowed to have a pet again. Prosecutor Dan Bramhall spoke of sadistic behavior. Judge Richard Archer said the crime was “frankly incredible”.
