The third season of “7 vs. Wild” starts in just a few days. Unlike the previous two seasons, the survival program by and with Fritz Meinecke is not broadcast directly on YouTube, but on the Amazon Freevee streaming platform, which is also free. The episodes will also be posted later on YouTube.
It was long unclear how quickly this would happen. However, it recently became known that there is almost a month between the launch on Freevee (October 31) and the publications on YouTube (November 29). An absolute prohibition for many fans. This also means that participants’ reactions to the episodes will not be posted online until a month later. Fans expressed their anger in a trailer on YouTube. Freevee responded quickly, but there is no solution in sight.

Amazon Freevee explains the start time of “7 vs. “Wild.”
“The idea of doing a third season was also for the community. Without us there wouldn’t have been a third season.” Freevee let fans know, making it clear that the community should be happy that there is another season. Without the support of the streaming platform this would not have been like this.
What also worries fans: When exactly will the episodes be released on Freevee? Amazon’s video-on-demand platform has not yet announced anything other than the launch date. After numerous fans repeatedly asked what time the episodes would be released, Freevee has now announced more information. Unlike the second season, episodes are not posted online at night. “As far as we know, the episodes should start at the beginning of the day, that is, appear throughout the night,” he says.
“7 vs. Wild”: what is still unclear
Even if there is still a specific time left, Fans can start their day early in the morning with an episode of “7 vs. Wild” on Freevee. A new episode of the survival show is posted online every Tuesday and Friday. It is not yet known when the season will end. There could possibly be an overlap with the YouTube posts, as the second season ran with two episodes each week for almost two months. Furthermore, this time the candidates were exposed to nature for 14 days. Previously it was only seven days.
It remains to be seen if this year’s season will be as successful as the last. Currently, some fans are threatening to boycott it and want to wait until it is posted on YouTube before streaming it so they can watch it along with live reactions from the participants.
