BARCELONA (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Vivendi plans to sell its festival ticketing and production businesses, Sky News reported Tuesday, citing financial sources.
These activities, housed in the Vivendi Village subsidiary, would not be of a critical magnitude, according to the British chain, which specifies, however, that no final decision has been made.
In the first half of 2023, See Tickets revenue represented 70% of Vivendi Village’s €81 million turnover, according to information provided by Vivendi.
The company, which operates in eight European markets and the United States, sold 39 million tickets to sporting events, museums, concerts, festivals and other live events last year.
Festival activity includes 11 events in France and the United Kingdom, including Love Supreme and Garorock.
Contacted by Dow Jones Newswires, Vivendi was not available for comment.
