London on Saturday canceled visas for the Belarusian men’s basketball team, which was due to play in Britain on Monday, as the country was “complicit” in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“The UK will not host national sports teams from countries that are complicit in (Russian President) Putin’s unprovoked and illegal invasion of Ukraine,” tweeted Home Secretary Priti Patel.
