Kigali – The rejection by the British justice system of the action of the pro-polistic NGO “WSC” against the trade agreement between Morocco and the United Kingdom constitutes “a new setback for the separatists”, says the Rwanda News Agency (RNA). .
This rejection follows a first decision issued on December 5, 2022, in the first instance, by the London Court of Appeal, which rejects the claims of “WSC” against the agreement, recalls RNA in an article published this Sunday.
Likewise, the High Court of New Zealand had refused, on March 15, 2021, to rule on the request for judicial review initiated by the “polisario” and the representative of “WSC, New Zealand”, against the “New Zealand Superfund ,” says the Rwanda Agency.

The Judge concluded that the reasons put forward by the representatives of the “polisario” have no real chance of success and that the appeal in itself would be useless, he continues, stating that this verdict only confirms the legitimacy of the actions undertaken by the Kingdom in its Southern Provinces, in full compliance with international law regarding the exploitation of its natural resources.
On the other hand, through this sentence that adds to the position always expressed by Morocco on the indisputable legality of the agreements concluded with the United Kingdom, “the Court recognized that the +polisario+ has absolutely no opinion to give in this that concerns the economic development of the Southern Provinces of the Kingdom and that Moroccan-British trade relations only concern these two countries,+ underlines the author.
