This week, the NBA formalized the signing of a new broadcast agreement in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
After Sky Sports, it is therefore the “newcomer” TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) that will broadcast 250 matches of this 2023-2024 season live.Launched this summer, the channel belongs to Warner Bros. Discovery. In the United States, the basketball league and the TNT channel have a long collaboration of more than 30 years, which undoubtedly facilitated this agreement for the British affiliate.
Discovery+ will thus become the NBA streaming platform for our British neighbors. In it, content like “NBA highlights, original shows and classic games” will be available.
