Tribe opens first hotel in the UK | news

“Following the brand’s global success, we’re delighted to finally bring the bold energy of Tribe to our UK guests. Our vision of a smart, functional and design-driven hotel fits perfectly with London’s dynamic Canary Wharf district,” commented Bruno Marti, Tribe’s Executive Vice President of Brand Marketing, on the opening of the new hotel.

The rooms are spread over six floors and are divided into three categories: Tribe Comfort, Tribe Comfort Atrium and Tribe Comfort XL. All categories offer natural daylight, floor-to-ceiling windows, king-size beds, free high-speed Wi-Fi, functional furniture with a desk, and well-appointed bathrooms with rain showers.

Social center

Tribe’s exclusive social hub is located on the ground floor of Tribe London Canary Wharf. Here guests, neighbors and visitors can work, eat, meet or simply spend their free time. The light-flooded area, which opens onto the hotel terrace, is open to all visitors. The homey design offers retreats and meeting places at the same time.

The Social Hub’s Grab & Go counter is open 24/7 and offers healthy local food, including a selection of locally sourced juices and sodas, pastries, snacks and more. The baristas also serve coffee from local supplier Monmouth Coffee. Takeaway dishes from the hotel’s Feels Like June restaurant complete the menu.

The house restaurant

Feels Like June Restaurant is open all day and seats up to 200 diners. Decorated in a light and airy way, it has the feel of bringing nature into the big city with plush benches, lush greenery, cool retro tiles, natural textures and a green color palette.

The restaurant also has a bar and a terrace with 80 seats. Cocktails are served throughout the night and into the wee hours of the morning, while laid-back soul and funk music creates a chill atmosphere. A cocktail menu includes creations like the Coconut Negroni, Expresso Martini, or a Tideline Highball on tap. There’s also a wine list featuring select wines from the west coast of the Sunshine State, as well as a selection of beers and spirits.
