Tim Cook (or rather, the one who manages his account) has been document the trip with messages on Twitter. Things kicked off on Sunday when Cook visited Apple’s Covent Garden retail store in London and mingled with shoppers and employees.

Cook also visited the Southbank Centre, a complex of art venues in London. In conjunction with this visit, the Southbank Center announced that it would be partnering with Apple’s Racial Equity and Justice Initiative to expand the program in the UK. This partnership “will support emerging Black creators, breaking down structural barriers and empowering future generations of talent.”

From there, Cook stopped by Apple’s new Battersea Power Station offices in London. These offices are expected to officially open in early 2023. Cook says the deals represent a “tribute to this incredible city and a reflection of our commitment to the future of Apple in the UK.”

Cook then stopped by two other Apple Stores today: Apple Brompton Road and Apple Regent Street. Images shared on Twitter show Cook mingling with staff members, including a somewhat hilarious group photo where he is completely back and barely visible.

Cook then traveled to hang out with the cast and crew of the hit Apple TV+ show “Ted Lasso.” This included Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso), Juno Temple (Keeley), Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard), and Jeremy Swift (Higgins).

A few other Apple executives also participated in this AFC Richmond visit: Eddy Cue (SVP of Services), Lisa Jackson (VP of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives), Deirdre O’Brien (SVP of Retail and People) and Kristin Huguet. Quayle (vice president of global communications).

After mingling with the AFC Richmond team, Cook attended Apple’s Founders Class in its first UK Foundations program. She then watched a gospel performance by Volney Morgan and New-Ye, as well as 12-year-old Nandi Bushell. It took place at Apple’s Platoon Studios, which is the company she acquired in 2018 to help support emerging artists.

This concluded Cook’s time in the UK, but he then traveled to Germany to visit Apple’s Rosenthaler Straße retail store. Here he met some developers from the App Store: Flowkey, komoot and Dogo. He also took the time to say hello to a “very well behaved” dog named Ninja.

Cook and Eddy Cue then took over and celebrated Oktoberfest in Munich, sharing a photo on Twitter holding a mug of beer and wearing traditional German clothing.

Cook and Jony Srouji, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware technologies, then toured one of Apple’s “state-of-the-art labs” in Munich. The two toured a room where “the engineers do some of the mobile testing that’s done to make sure we’re getting the best performance and connectivity.”

And finally, in Munich, Cook caught up with local photographer Jannik Obenhoff, who showed off some of his first results of the iPhone 14 Pro Max camera system.

Where will Cook and his fellow Apple executives go? It’s unknown, but you can continue with the trip on Twitter.
