Houthi rebels carried out several attacks on two merchant ships and a military vessel over the weekend off the coast of Yemen. The latest wave of attacks follows threats by the Houthis to step up their attacks in response to particularly violent US and British attacks on their positions that left 16 people dead, according to the television channel of the faction supported by Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah.
