This Volkswagen Combi transformed into a Dragster is impressive!

A Volkswagen Combi like no other is becoming the king of Drag Race. Obviously, it has been greatly modified.

There aren’t many combis like that. The Santa Pod Raceway in the United Kingdom, famous for its unique drag races, was the scene of an amazing performance.

And it doesn’t come from an electric supercar or a heavily modified Porsche 911. No, The main star of the day is a 1968 Volkswagen Combi van. He completed an incredible quarter mile in just 8.88 seconds. Still, her fuel pump had some problems.

Alex Leiserach is the man behind this dragster like no other. It was one of the first single cab Volkswagen vans built. This Combi is equipped with a four-speed sequential gearbox.a reinforced braking system controlled by CO2 and a parachute.
