The Rolling Stones today announce a tour of 14 concerts in 10 countries in Europe this summer and reveal the name of the tour: ‘SIXTY’ to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the band. ‘SIXTY’ will be the opportunity for Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood to stop at Groupama Stadium next Tuesday, July 19, with a huge stage, lights and video design at the forefront of creativity and technology.
The Stones will be joined onstage by Steve Jordan (drums) and Chuck Leavell (keyboards), Darryl Jones (bass), Tim Ries and Karl Denson (horns), Matt Clifford (keyboards) and Bernard Fowler and Sasha Allen on vocals.
This long-awaited tour, produced by Concerts West/AEG Presents, will begin at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid (Spain) on June 1, then it will go through Munich (Germany), Liverpool (United Kingdom), amsterdam (Netherlands), Bern (Switzerland), Milan (Italy), London (United Kingdom), Brussels (Belgium), Vienna (Austria), Lyon-Decines (France), Paris (France), Gelsenkirchen (Germany), ending in Stockholm (Sweden).
Finally, today a new Rolling Stones tongue design was presented, created for the ‘SIXTY’ tour, signed by the English designer Mark Norton.
