Technology Minerals Plc has announced that Recyclus Group Ltd, its 49%-owned battery recycling business, has appointed Jo Dennis as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective October 10, 2022. Jo replaces Matthew Taylor, who will step down CEO of the group and will retire on October 6, 2022. Jo currently serves as Non-Executive Director at Recyclus and has extensive experience working in the industrial sector in the areas of manufacturing, engineering, distribution, logistics management and waste management.

In the field of waste and recycling, Jo has successfully led companies through the stages of innovation, scale, growth and continuous improvement, with a focus on doing so sustainably, while supporting the circular economy. Jo’s diverse career has spanned management, operations, sales, project management and engineering roles, working with a variety of companies from SMEs to global manufacturers in the UK and EMEA region. He has held senior positions in a number of organisations, including Business Development Manager, then Director, at Flowstore Systems Ltd. Most recently, Jo held the position of Managing Director at Pyrenergy Ltd, a waste-to-energy and recycling company in the UK that recovers energy and materials from hydrocarbon waste that would otherwise go to landfill, incineration or export.
