Prague Henrik von Eckermann won the Jumping Super Grand Prix at the five-star international horse show in Prague.
The Olympic team champion from Sweden was clear on King Edward in both rounds of the jumping competition and won with a time of 60.82 seconds. The second place went to the Spanish Sergio Álvarez Moya with Alamo. The pair also completed both laps without errors, but were slower than the winner at 62.48 seconds. Ben Maher (Great Britain) was third in Explosion.
The only German contestant was Daniel Deußer (Mechelen / Belgium) with Killer Queen. The 40-year-old had to notice a drop in the first round, he stayed away in the second. With four penalty points, the world number two came in sixth place.
Only 15 international jumpers who had qualified during the season were eligible to start at the Prague Super Grand Prix – the 15 winners of the Global Champions Tour stages in 2021. The Global Champions Tour is the most gifted show jumping series in the world. .
