-Reduce the footprint of your building. The global technological solution composed of hardware, software and service, available in more and more countries, has been recognized by the German Chamber of Foreign Trade in Spain (AHK Spain) as a particularly innovative reference project in the field of energy efficiency. in the construction sector and presented to an interested professional audience in a showcase in Madrid. At “C&R”, an international air conditioning, ventilation, heating, sanitary and refrigeration technology fair in Madrid, Sophia was also included in the exclusive “Innovation Gallery”, which selects the 20 most innovative products of the year.
Sophia hardware can be installed into existing heating systems in just a few hours and then optimizes their operation fully automatically. It collects data on heating habits and weather conditions, uses it as a basis to determine actual needs, and automatically and proactively regulates the amount of heat produced. In this way, heating energy consumption can be reduced by 15 to 25 percent without having to replace the system and without reducing comfort; The same applies to CO2 emissions. Other functions include early detection of breakdowns and constant monitoring of the hot water boiler, which prevents the proliferation of legionella. Sophia was developed in Spain, where it is used in numerous buildings as of 2021. It is currently being gradually implemented in Great Britain, Italy, Austria and Switzerland; In Germany, Sophia is currently used in several pilot projects.
“The awards prove it: Sophia is an excellent example of how technology can be used intelligently to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs in both residential real estate and commercial and industrial real estate. Our numerous installations already underway prove that our customers “We are very satisfied and in many cases the Sophia system results in significantly higher savings than expected, between 15 and 25%,” says Oliver Schlodder, CSO and member of the board ista directive.
