HERZILYA/ISRAEL (IT-Times) – Israeli inverter specialist SolarEdge today announced the acquisition of Hark Systems, a Europe-based IoT and power analytics company.
SolarEdge Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: SEDG, ISIN: US83417M1045) today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all of the share capital of Hark Systems Ltd.
Hark Systems was founded in 2016 and is based in Leeds, UK. The company offers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for the Internet of Things (IoT).
Hark’s cloud and edge technology streams data from entire plants down to a specific plant level and analyzes that data in real time to provide energy managers and plant operators with actionable intelligence.
With the help of the solution, companies and plant operators can connect, analyze and optimize industrial plants and energy at their locations.
Hark’s technology enables rapid deployment and go-live at multiple sites. Hark’s customer base is made up of a variety of industries, including some of the UK’s largest supermarket chains.
