With the preferred supplier Capiro, the DFG companies have been working for years in the transport of chrysanthemums and alstroemeria, among others, by sea container. Last week, the 10,000th container from Capiro arrived in the Netherlands, full of products for the customers of the different DFG companies, such as SuperFlora, JZ Flowers and The Floral Connection.

The container had been given a striking appearance for this special occasion. The Floral Connection purchasing team received the container on behalf of the DFG Companies and, as expected, the flowers were once again of high quality.

The first “DOOR TO DOOR” container of Nini Flowers in Kenya

DFG has been transporting 4 to 7 sea containers of flowers per week from various partners in Kenya for years. DFG has been involved in Nini Herburg Roses since January 1, 2023 and the first container that was loaded at the Nini Flowers nursery in Kenya arrived in the Netherlands last week. The fully packaged chain from nursery to customer is a given.

When the container arrived in Aalsmeer, Patrick van der Weg and Peter van Wijk from Nini Flowers were present along with Harry Brockhoff and Marcel Zandvliet from DFG. Together with committed colleagues who worked to make this step possible, they received the container with a festive welcome.
