Is something wrong with Belarusian President Lukashenko? Rumors about this are increasing. He was in Moscow last Tuesday for the annual Victory Day military parade. So he didn’t look so good.
The president appeared very tired and was reportedly a bit unsteady on his feet. A bandage could also have been seen on his right hand. Lukashenko was also the only one taken from the stands to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier by car, a distance of about 300 metres, while Russian President Vladimir Putin walked along with heads of state from several other countries.
Lukashenko then reportedly also sent his cat to have lunch with Putin and the other leaders. The president is said to have been taken directly to the airport after laying flowers at the grave of the unknown soldier and returned to Belarus.
Back in Belarus, he did attend a ceremony in the capital Minsk on the occasion of that same Victory Day. But she would not have been seen for days after that and today she was not present at a ceremony where she has always given a speech for the last 29 years.
