Matt Reeves’ The Batman had already taken advantage of the DC Fandome event in late August 2020 to reveal a first teaser video. We discovered a Bruce Wayne younger than those to which the cinema has us accustomed. He appears to be fighting Mystery Man, played by Paul Dano. These first images are also the opportunity to discover Zoë Kravitz in the role of Catwoman, but also Colin Farrell as Penguin and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
As a reminder, filming for The Batman began in late January 2020 in the UK under the direction of Matt Reeves before being interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic. Robert Pattinson, who therefore plays Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne, is surrounded by a cast of big names: Colin Farrell (from Bruges, Alexandre) plays the role of the penguin while Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max Fury Road, Divergent) plays Catwoman. and Jeffrey Wright (The Hunger Games, Westworld) will serve as Commissioner Gordon. Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, King Kong) will play the butler Alfred Pennyworth, Paul Dano (Little Miss Sunshine, Swiss Army Man) the Mystery Man and John Turturro (The Big Lebowski, O’Brother) will lend his features to the mobster Carmine Falcone.
