Rift Apart, the next game for insomniacs to take first place

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PS5

First there was Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and now there is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. If Sony is at the top of the UK weekly sales chart, it’s because of Insomniac Games of late. The latest PlayStation 5 exclusive takes first place on first demand, selling three times as many copies as Returnal at launch. The only other new entry in the top 10 is Chivalry 2 in ninth place. It sold best on PlayStation, with the PS5 accounting for 41% of boxed copies and the PS4 for 36%.

Other notable PS5 titles include Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which debuts at grade 12, and Guilty Gear Strive. The new fighting title was only able to achieve 26th place. Recent PS4 games include Biomutant through 40th and Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, which ranks 13th. Always remember that these statistics only take into account physical sales in the UK. We are sure they would read very differently if digital purchases were included.

Here’s the latest top 10 in full.
