Last week’s UK physical chart saw the arrival of a PlayStation 5 exclusive key: Returnal. It debuted in a promising second place, which is not bad at all for a unique and enjoyable platform title. However, despite the rave reviews, the game’s physical sales have plummeted, with the elegant shooter now at 15th place. Still, we must assume that he will quickly become Housemarque’s biggest seller, and we have yet to hear. on its sales performance on the PlayStation Store.
However, the success of a game is almost guaranteed and that is Resident Evil Village. The latest survival horror outing debuted at No. 1, with almost half of physical sales being the PS5 version. In fact, the combined sales of the PS5 and PS4 accounted for 80% of the physical units sold, which is quite impressive.
Elsewhere, we have the usual suspects: FIFA 21 continues to appear in the top 10 at number three, and Grand Theft Auto V holds firm at number eight. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War rounds things out in 10th, while Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales still looms right outside of that, rocking 12th.
Here’s the latest top 10 in full.
