The results of a new opinion poll conducted in Britain shortly before the first anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II are surprising. The question of who is the most popular person among the royals is regularly raised. Not surprisingly, Duchess Meghan isn’t necessarily in the top three. However, she already has a different personality.
According to a YouGov survey, Prince William tops the list of the most popular royals. 74 percent of the British turned out to be true fans of William and positively perceive the future heir to the throne. His brother Harry, on the other hand, is less fortunate. He finished in seventh place with just 31 percent. In previous surveys, the prince achieved values comparable to those of William. After the scandals of recent years, it is far from that.

Princess Kate surprisingly outclassed
A real surprise, however, is Princess Kate’s performance. She has lost the popularity of her. Instead of second place as before, Kate is now only third (with 72 percent). In front of her is Princess Ana, sister of King Carlos III.like the british “Mirrorhe reported.

Anne is considered the hardest working royal and this is reflected in the popularity ratings. 73 percent of Britons have a positive opinion of her. That puts her right behind William.

Most Brits want to keep their monarchy
Rey Carlos III must settle for fourth place, and that with a clear difference compared to Anne. Only 60 percent of those surveyed see it positively. They are followed by Prince Edward with 54 percent and Queen Camilla with 47 percent.

Far behind, in the penultimate place, is, unsurprisingly, Duchess Meghan. After all, 24 percent of Brits still like Harry’s wife. She’s still a good value when you factor in Prince Andrew’s six percent. In the past, she caused a lot of discontent by her involvement in the Epstein scandal, which the British punished mercilessly.
However, the survey did not refer only to the popularity of individual members of the royal family, but also to the monarchy as a whole. 62 percent of the British continue to be in favor of maintaining the monarchy, although on this point the opinions between young and old differ. Because only 37 percent of young people between the ages of 18 and 24 share this point of view.
