Prince Harry landed in London after Charles III's cancer diagnosis

On Monday, the palace announced that King Charles III. suffers from cancer. Now his son Harry has landed in London.

Shortly after Buckingham Palace announced on Monday night that King Charles III had undergone surgery for an enlarged prostate more than a week ago. After the cancer was discovered, news emerged that his youngest son, Harry, was coming to visit him. Apparently, a few hours later he took a regular British Airways flight.

Prince Harry is said to be sitting in one of the dark Range Rovers and being escorted into the city center with police protection.

The monarch personally informed Harry of his diagnosis, whose relationship with his family is considered poor, British media continue to report. Many Britons now hope that the royals, who turned their backs on the royal family a few years ago, can reach out to their relatives again.

It is not known where Harry is staying now: in a hotel or at a royal property. But experts see the Duke of Sussex's visit as “good news” and a “signal of truce.”

King Charles III rests at his London residence Clarence House, near Buckingham Palace. According to the Daily Mail, Harry has also arrived there.

As the palace announced, the 75-year-old “started a regular treatment program on Monday.” It was not said exactly how Charles will be treated. The royal family statement also said that Charles would not perform any public duties during his treatment, but that he could continue to carry out state business and official procedures as usual.
