Several players, especially in the UK, are reporting that they are unable to transfer the PS4 disc version of Far Cry 6 to the new PS5. This is a very annoying problem. When you finally have your PS5, of course, you will immediately want to try your latest game on it. Currently, this is not possible due to the current problem.

The cause of the problem is known. The Russian versions of the game are said to have been accidentally shipped to players in the UK. This is not a problem in terms of the game itself, but it prevents players from using the program where PS4 games can be upgraded to PS5 games for free.
It is not the first time that there have been problems with Ubisoft games that have to be ported to the new PS5. In December, there were also issues related to the game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
