Ahead of the release of the second part of the Netflix documentary on Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, a new trailer for “Harry & Meghan” is causing a stir. It alleges that the British royal family has repeatedly passed negative stories about Meghan to the press to distract attention from headlines about other royals.

“A story about someone in the family came up for a minute and somehow they made it go away,” the Duchess says in the video, which lasts about a minute. A woman described by Netflix as a friend of Meghan’s described the American as a “palace scapegoat” who was sacrificed to avoid further negative stories.

The first three episodes of the documentary garnered much attention in the UK, although they did not achieve the success expected by the couple. The kingdom is now eagerly awaiting “Volume II”, as Netflix has dubbed the last three episodes, which will premiere on Thursday.

It is widely believed that Harry and Meghan will not return to the Royal Family after the documentary. In any case, they had already given up their honorary titles and patronages when they gave up their royal duties. But they were considered members of the inner circle of the family. Many commentators in Britain no longer see an opportunity for this.
