Sensation coach in England! Does that mean trouble for Ronaldo?
According to the portal “The Athletic”, Ralf Rangnick (63) will take charge of Manchester United for the summer. There was no official confirmation until Thursday night.
Therefore, Rangnick leaves his job as Head of Sports and Development at Lokomotiv Moscow to take up a coaching job on an interim basis at the club of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (36). After that, he will continue to work as a consultant for two more years.

Rangnick and Ronaldo, can it work out?
The English media (including “The Sun” and “Express”) dug up an old quote from Rangnick, which the superstar should not like. In December 2016, Rangnick (then Leipzig’s sporting director), when asked by the AFP news agency if he preferred to sign Messi or Ronaldo, said that they were both “too old”. CR7 was only 31 years old at the time!
He also stated at the time: “It would be absurd to think that he is with them here (in Leipzig, editor’s note.) would work.” Rangnick relied exclusively on young players.
In Manchester you MUST get along with Ronaldo. The superstar was brought in from Turin for the championship title mission in the summer and is in the starting line-up.
Football expert Marcel Reif (71) on BILD TV in the “Reif ist Live” talk about the mammoth task of Rangnick, Ronaldo and ManUnited: “I don’t understand how he intends to do that. I can’t imagine Ronaldo turning out to be his younger brother. That’s a task. So he dares to do something. That’s brave.”
