Lifetime Achievement Award: Kevin Spacey appears at the stadium in Italy

Just days after rejecting multiple abuse claims via video call at a London court hearing, Kevin Spacey (63) was in good spirits in public. The actor attended a football match in Turin on Sunday. In FC Torino’s home defeat (0:1 against Spezia Calcio), Spacey appeared nonchalant in the stands. He laughed with his teammates, posed for photos and greeted the public. Backstage, he was presented with a T-shirt with his name on the back.

Spacey is in the northern Italian city, having received a lifetime achievement award from the local film museum on Monday. He will also conduct a master class there.

Kevin Spacey had to appear again in court in Britain on Friday. A man accuses the American of three counts of sexual harassment, three sexual assaults and one coercion for sexual activity. Spacey, who joined the trial via video call, pleaded not guilty to all seven charges.

Now twelve charges against Spacey in the UK

Spacey now faces 12 charges of sexual assault in the UK. In the other cases, he too, he rejects the accusations. The alleged crimes would have taken place between 2005 and 2013. Kevin Spacey was director of the Old Vic Theater in London from 2003 to 2015.

In his native United States, Kevin Spacey was acquitted in October 2022. The New York court considered the accusations of actor Anthony Rapp (51) unproven. Rapp had accused Spacey of sexually abusing him in 1986, when he was 14 years old.
