Land Securities Group PLC has announced that, following an extensive selection process, it has appointed Sir Ian Cheshire as an independent non-executive director and chairman-elect. He previously held non-executive roles at Barclays Plc’s FTSE 100 (and as Chairman of Barclays Bank UK) and at Whitbread Plc, where he was an independent senior director.
