While some riders have resumed training or are participating in cyclocross rounds, former world champion Michal Kwiatkowski (INEOS Grenadiers) prepares for the 2023 season by playing tennis with his compatriot Iga Swiatek (21), world number 1 and notably winner of two Roland Garros. For one afternoon, the 32-year-old Polish runner practiced hitting the yellow ball. “Great afternoon with Iga and his amazing team. Nice to hit tennis balls with you“, indicates the team’s frontier INEOS Grenadiers through his twitter account. In 2022, kwiatkowski had an average season despite a big Amstel Gold Race win ahead of the Frenchman benoit cosnephroy.

Ależ miÅ‚e popoÅ‚udnie z @iga_swiatek i Jej niesamowitym ZespoÅ‚em. Fajnie odbić kilka piÅ‚ek (i nie odebrać żadnego z serwisów 😅)
Great afternoon with Iga and his amazing team. Happy to hit some tennis balls (and lose all serves 😅)
Fingers crossed for you#inspiration https://t.co/4BTSONM1yI
