Hup Seng Industries Berhad has announced the resignation of Ms. Ho Wei Lih as an independent and non-executive director. The change date is August 31, 2023. She is 41 years old. Professional Experience: Ms Ho Wei Lih was called to the Middle Temple Bar Association of England and Wales in 2006 and to the Malaysian Bar Association in 2007. She is currently a Partner and Head of the China Practice Group of Rahmat Lim & Partners, an associate firm of Allen & Gledhill LLP, Singapore.
Wei Lih represents private equity funds and multinational corporations as lead counsel in corporate transactions in the ASEAN region. Her advisory roles cover investments, privatizations, takeovers, acquisitions and divestitures in a wide range of sectors for local and foreign clients. He also advises on private placements, joint ventures, distressed mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring transactions. A partner since 2014, Wei Lih is recommended by legal publications, including Chambers Asia Pacific and IFLR 1000, for her practice in corporate law and M&A. She has an LL.M., specializing in company and business law, from University College London (UK). The degree is a First Class Honors Law Degree (LL.B.) from the University of Birmingham, UK.
