“It is very annoying for Eurofederalists like Macron because they don’t want Britain to triumph. “

“It won’t help you in the polls because you seem like a bitter person when French voters have more concerns than attacking the British.
He wants to appear as a great world leader but the French see it clearly.

Macron has been quoted as saying that the UK was “run by a clown” and that Johnson had “the attitude of a fool”.
