81% of French construction professionals consider that digitalization tools remain difficult to adopt. This is four points more than the world average, which is 77%.
77% of respondents, from all countries combined, say that introducing new technologies to their teams or within their company is difficult, or even very difficult. This is particularly the case for France (81%), just ahead of Hungary (84%) and Serbia (83%). Sacha Atlani, regional director of PlanRadar in France, comments: “ In France, actors in the construction and real estate sector remain convinced of a low return on investment, despite the productivity gains that these tools could bring them in the medium term.» In France, 41% of professionals surveyed say they have not noticed any investment in BIM or digital measures in favor of energy efficiency. The majority of respondents believe that economic criteria remains the main obstacle to digitalization.
