DG Innovate plc presents complete solutions for electric vehicles at CENEX-LCV 2023

DG Innovate has announced that the company will showcase a comprehensive suite of products and solutions for electric vehicle (“EV”) designers, manufacturers and operators at CENEX-LCV 2023, the UK’s leading exhibition and conference dedicated to low-carbon vehicles and fuels. carbon emissions. cell technologies. CENEX-LCV 2023 will take place on September 6-7, 2023 at UTAC Millbrook, near Bedford, UK. DG Innovate will present its electric axle for buses and other heavy vehicles, developed in collaboration with BRIST Axle Systems Srl. It is a complete assembly with the company’s fully integrated Pareta motor and drive.

It is a turnkey solution for axles up to 13 ton capacity, suitable for both retrofit and new construction applications. One of the main advantages is that the integrated design frees up space for the batteries, allowing the vehicles to have a longer range. Also on display for the first time will be DG Innovate’s Pareta fleet tracking and tracking system, which provides powerful cloud-based tools for managing EV fleets.

The system continuously displays the location of all vehicles in the fleet on a map, and by simply touching the corresponding vehicle icon, the user can instantly view performance data and energy level. The data is also stored for later analysis to allow comparisons between vehicles and between drivers. Another innovation on the DG Innovate booth at CenEX-LCV 2023 will be software that simulates electric vehicles and allows them to be driven virtually on user-defined terrain to evaluate and compare the performance of different driving options.

During the expo, this software was partnered with a driving station to enable live demos. To complement its new presentations, DG Innovate presents motors and inverters from its Pareta range. These use a unique segmented architecture that divides the inverter and torque producing elements into multiple segments.

This architecture has many advantages, including higher efficiency, improved thermal characteristics, operation from safer low-voltage supplies, and mass and volumetric power density unmatched in its class. In addition, Pareta drives offer unmatched fault resistance because, in the event of a segment failure, the drive continues to operate normally, except for a slight reduction in maximum torque.
