City in England home to Britain’s worst bosses

THE worst bosses in the UK are in Norwich, according to a survey.

More than four in ten workers surveyed in the city said they had a boss from hell who treated them with contempt.

And nearly half of Norwich workers said they left a job just because they couldn’t stand working for their manager anymore.

The town is home to Steve Coogan’s ghastly creation, Alan Partridge, who regularly put his personal assistant, Lynn, through hell.

Leeds had the second highest proportion of horrible bosses, followed by Bristol, Stoke-on-Trent, Cambridge and Cardiff.

The survey, conducted by freelancing technology specialist Wise, also found that a third of staff believed a bad boss affected job performance.
