On October 6, 2021, Ecobank Cameroon formalized its participation in the development of education by signing an alliance with the Ministry of Secondary Education (MINESEC) at the MINESEC Distance Learning Center in Yaoundé. This firm marks a significant turning point in Cameroon’s financial and educational ecosystem, as the Cameroonian government and Ecobank share the same vision of financial inclusion, in particular by allowing the masses to conduct financial transactions in the most fluid way that it is. This ceremony was honored by the Ministry of Secondary Education under the leadership of the Minister, Professor Nalova LYONGA, and Ecobank Cameroon.

During the ceremony, the Managing Director of Ecobank Cameroon, Ms Gwendoline ABUNAW said: “Ecobank, in its own way, strives to help the Government of Cameroon through its organs to better serve the nation.
