Despite the distrust of many players towards Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III due to the blurred line between the full game and the large DLC, Activision’s latest title seems to be a real commercial success.
Modern Warfare III tops UK charts
GfK data shared by GameIndustry.biz indicate that Modern Warfare III reached the top of the UK charts, despite physical sales falling by 25% compared to Modern Warfare II during the same period.
Also in terms of physical sales, 72% of sales in this same territory correspond to PlayStation 5 and 8% to PlayStation 4, compared to only 20% for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. This distribution would obviously change if digital sales were included.
