In the UK, some buyers were in for a nasty surprise when they opened their package with the new PS5. Instead of the console, several Amazon customers found completely different things like cat food, toys, or kitchen machines in their delivery. Numerous reports of this have appeared on Twitter in the past few hours. Amazon has yet to comment on the matter.

The mesh behind stolen PS5 consoles always seems to be the same. The package arrives later than indicated and the adhesive tape is transparent and not the usual Amazon tape with logos and other inscriptions. Those affected have already taken care of support, but now they have to wait a little longer for their console. So far, no such cases have been reported in Germany.
