Arrests in the United Kingdom after deadly ammonia attack | Abroad

Two men have been arrested in the UK on suspicion of dousing a man with a corrosive liquid. The man died as a result of the incident.

A 26-year-old man was seriously injured last week and subsequently died in hospital. This happened after he was attacked with ammonia as he opened the door to his home near Newcastle. Two men hit the victim and sprayed him with the liquid. Then they left.

Local police said they arrested two 32-year-old men suspected of Saturday’s attack. A 34-year-old man and two women, aged 37 and 30, have also been arrested by the police, who suspect they are involved in the events. In this case, the English police intercepted a total of six people. A 26-year-old man has already been released.

Earlier this month there were also two attacks with a corrosive substance in Brussels. There were injuries, but no fatalities.
