President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) believes Indonesia can become the world’s seventh largest economy by 2030. One of the drivers is digital progress.
Jokowi called for technological developments in the financial world to be closely monitored. He also called for its development to be further encouraged so that it can also make a positive contribution to economic growth.
Because he believes that Indonesia, with its large population, has great potential to develop into a digital giant country with China and India. If this is achieved, the goal of becoming the seventh largest economy in the world by 2030 will be achieved.
“If we control it quickly and appropriately, Indonesia has great potential to become a digital giant after China and India and can lead us to the seventh largest economy in the world by 2030,” he said.
He also added that efforts must be made to build a strong and sustainable digital financial ecosystem. Not only growing, but also being able to take on responsibility.
“Mitigating the risk of potential legal problems and social problems to prevent loss increases protection for the community,” he added.
