Prince Harry traveled to Britain on a quick visit on Thursday. The royal, 38, smiled as he arrived in London for an event organized by the organization WellChild, which supports sick children and their families.
Harry, who lives in the US state of California with his wife Meghan (42) and their two children, Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2), rarely comes to his homeland. He was last there in June when he appeared in court as a witness in a civil case over spying allegations against publisher Mirror.
This Saturday (September 9) Harry wants to open the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf. The international sports competition for wounded servicemen is considered a project close to the Afghanistan veteran’s heart. He is also expected to be invited to the current ZDF sports studio that night.
According to British media, Harry did not meet with his father, King Charles III. (74) or his brother, Prince William (41). It was initially unclear how Harry wanted to spend the first anniversary of the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on Friday. The Queen died on September 8, 2022 at her Scottish estate, Balmoral Castle.
