Lille changes to English time, starting this Thursday, September 28 and all weekend! An exceptional exhibition stops at the esplanade of the Campo de Marteuntil Sunday, October 1.
Organized by the Studio des Audars, it is an honor for British culture and is made up of different interactive virtual reality experiences.

3D street art, virtual reality…

Called GREAT, the meeting was imagined by renowned street artists, 3D Joe and Max. They specialize in “two-dimensional works of art,” that is, works of art that appear three-dimensional once completed. This should please both young and old!

The temporary exhibition, which was a great success in Marseille and Bordeaux, is divided into two main parts.

Firstly, visitors “will be able to walk through an anamorphic and distorted art experience, and discover stories from British culture, including street art, sport, music, film and technological innovation,” organizers say.

They are also offered to participate in a work of art in constant evolution, which will be delivered to the city of Lille after three days.

Then comes the immersive part of GREAT: a virtual reality space will transport audiences to the history of the United Kingdom and its cities. All while… flying on the back of a beetle!

Finally, the work of stop-motion animation pioneer Aardman Animation (Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep) will be (re)discovered for 40 years.

• Friday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sunday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
